My wife called me today around 5:30. She got home and shut the key off and removed it from our B5 blue anthracite V6 4 Motion Passat wagon. Sorry for the details just love the car, but anyway it kept running! I recently got my balls busted for not posting an auto scan. Here is what I found in a place most people wouldn't look.

Just and FYI for the newbies.

Yeah, but you forgot to include the installation list at the top of the scan ;) It's an important part of the scan because it allows people to immediately see and pinpoint which controllers are at fault without having to look through a mile of scan output to find out. Oh, and the scan isn't wrapped in

tags either ;)

At least you found what the problem was caused by :)

No he did not :), it does not exist on that B5 (3B) model, first next Model (3C).
But you are right about the wrapping.

@VR6 Bug if you are testing your nice car often, you could put this line in the MyAutoScan.txt (placed in the VCDS directory):
3B,VR6 Bug VW Passat B5,01,02,03,15,17,19,46,56

You have no Climatronic ?

I should do that for my older cars, thanks. Im assuming code tags and wrap is what Uwe did to my post. Ill try to figure it out.

The CODE tags trick is explained in this post right under the video.
