Hex net not updating firmware

Hi all I recently purchased a used hex net and tried to update the firmware on my pc and when I try to download it comes up with a error code -8 download failed ?any ideas how to fix? Thanks

Based on what I can see on the server, the firmware in that HEX-NET is up to date, the only thing that's behind is that Dataset, which is only relevant to VCDS-Mobile, not to VCDS software running on a PC. So if you're not intending to use VCDS-Mobile, you can ignore this.

If you are intending to use VCDS-Mobile, then try letting it update the Dataset.

Have you tried using VCDS-Mobile to update? Connect the HEX-NET to your wifi via the config, and then access it via clicking its IP on the main screen or by using the app.

well i tried updating the dataset through infrastructure mode on my phone and the net config on my pc still no luck im at DS00000035 and the latest is DS30000060 which i see is 10 updates in front can i update one at a time ?

I seem to be having problems updating my interface also. I tried to update it through mobile app and it is still giving me messages.
