Hello, I have a 2012 VW Jetta TDI 6 speed manual. I have had her for a little under 2 years now and can't take this hill assist feature any longer, lol. I hate it. I would like to have it disabled but the VW dealership won't do it because it is a "safety feature". Is there anyone in PA that has a VCDC that would be willing to turn mine off for me? I will pay you to do so. Thank you very much!

To know whether it's possible to turn off hill assist we'll need to see full unedited VCDS Auto-Scan - not all ABS controllers are configured in the same way.

I don't have the ability to do an auto-scan since I don't have the VCDS, though.
So we have a chicken-and-egg situation... without knowing how you Jetta is equipped it's hard/impossible to know how/if to disable Hill Hold.

Maybe there is a VCDS owner living near you in PA who would be willing to do an Auto-Scan? In the UK that's not uncommon (usually for 'beer tokens'!).
