As a baseline that looks OK. A next level would be logging the sensor data when it changes from cold to warm, to see if there are any jumps or irregularities in the values. Those irregularities can easily be spotted when loading the log into VCScope afterwards.
I've done it a few time ago, never spotted irregularities. But I don't think I haven’t kept the logs for this.

An unrelated topic, logging injector status codes (MVB 018+019) are always worth a look - especially when there are no fault codes stored. You may see a 064/128 in a log where it doesn't belong, which otherwise would be missed when looking at those values live while driving.
Done, I only see 0 for 5 injectors all the time except when releasing the throttle, value is 128.0 for the 5 injectors (while the car speed is enough to rotate the engine without gasoline)
Seems normal?

With these logs the turbo can produce the correct amount of boost and the MAF reading seem to match the turbo so would say there no boost leaks,
The problem is how quickly the turbo builds the boost pressure - it way to slow building and also the duty cycle on the N75 is too high,

So please check vacuum levels to N75 and at turbo actuator
Also basic settings group 11 or charge pressure control (Engine will rev itself up) with engine running and make sure the actuator move the full travel and also how much does the boost change?
Also any history as into when this started?

I agree, this is way too slow to build the pressure! (And usually never reach the target, except at 3500+rpm)

The actuator move in full, check manually (no hard point) and with VCDS.

For the history:
- bought the T5: 2 1/2 years ago
- always found that some of the 174 horses was sleeping, but buyer says it was normal and no comparison point
- 2 years ago, 1st time I had the P0299 error : highway, climbing, high load.
- no more error for a few month, then one time again (same conditions)
- since 1 year and a half, the P0299 error occurs more and more often.
- now I can trigger it on demand: high speed (>80kmh), cool driving (2000-2500rpm max), slight uphill, 4-5-6st gear.
And this becomes more and more easy to trigger the error over time.

Hi there!
I had an appointment at VW’s yesterday for my issue. They have checked all typical issues (mechanical and electrical) and can’t find anything wrong. So they stop there research and they gave me back the car with no solution
The only thing they told me: « you can go and see a guy who can remap the ECU… »

I’m furious against them, but really can’t do anything but find by myself… with your very precious help!

So thanks for your already spent time, I hope we will figure this issue out

I have seem something very similar before lack of power and slow to build boost and this was all 5 injectors, As the van was a 2006 model we had the luxury of checking the exhaust gas temps (As vehicle had DPF) also we knew the injector seals had just been changed before the fault happened, Looks like who ever did the job let all the diesel leak into the cylinders when changing the injectors and when starting has hydrolocked up and crushed the end of the injectors - started and idle fine but up the road was flat and wouldn't produce boost
Rail pressure was checked and everything to injectors was fine but we had very low EGT - after a compression test to make sure engine was mechanically sound had the injectors tested and flow rate was too low.

So compression test engine to make sure that's correct
Also check in tank fuel pump supply before and after fuel filter and rail pressure after tandum pump

Hi DGMotors!
That’s interesting!

I’ve never checked exhaust gaz temp. Maybe I can try a measure between the turbo and the catalytic.

For the compression I’ve done it few weeks ago. From memory all cylinders was around 22-23 bars, so in the VW tolerance (min 19 bar for each cylinder and max 5 bar diff between cylinders)

I’ll try to find out an adapter to check fuel pressure after tandem pump.
Fuel filter is brand new, but I’ll check before/after too.

Hi!

I've checked the fuel pressure, here are the results:
- tank fuel pump: about 0.5bar (same before and after the filter)
- tandem pump: about 12bars @4000 rpm

Sounds good?
