Hello, I need some help. I have a 2014 Jetta 2.0 TDI. We just purchased this car and soon after we noticed that while driving around 60 miles per hour, the rpms gauge would increase from around 2800 RPMs to 3200 and then back down, sometimes more than other times, and we could feel the transmission shifting up and down. Though it still shifted smooth up and down even from take off. So I went on the web and looked it up. It led me to doing a transmission adaptation in the VCDS program . After that when we put the car in drive and reverse it clumps 2 times then goes fine until we stop and the car idles for about 30 seconds then it will clump 2 times again. Why would that happen after running that program?
