I am having issues resolving the SAI issues shown in the scan. I have done the following work to the car:
- Performed carbon buildup cleaning on the cylinder heads, verified passages are clear with a borescope
- Verified the pump motor is working and flowing
- Verified air pump is turning on at startup
- Checked that the hoses from the pump to the combi valves for leaks with a smoke test and also just by blocking one end and blowing into other
- Verified the combi valves are working by using a mighty vac and checking function to verify air flows when activated and no air passes when no vacuum is applied
I have also removed an O2 sensor on each cat to verify I am able to hear airflow into the exhaust. Not sure how to measure this flow, but they appear to sound like equal amounts of air is passing thru.
The car itself runs great. Starts right up, idles very smooth, runs strong. I am at a loss on what could be wrong but the code keeps coming back right after readiness is achieved.
