hi having some problems with my audi a4 avant
audi a4
2008
a4 avant s line tdi 2.0 140 bhp
engine code BRE
basically lost keys so i changed the ecu dash cluster comfort ecu and keys ect the car starts and drives but there things still cant be used such as the radio the main code is incorrect chassis number due to the cluster dash change i still have original dash and ecu set could any one help please iv sent over the reading from scan may thanks

it dosent really mention in this above but i have now 2 different vin numbers for the car the one it is reading is the vin above but most of the codes are relating to
01794 control module incorrect vin chassis number 35-00
my question is how can i change the control module to reconise the vin or is there a way i can sort this out please help if you can many thanks

If you have different VINs in the ECU and the Cluster/Immobilizer, I think you're going to have rather unpredictable results. Please check MVB 081 in those modules.

Also I do have both pins from both clusters read by a locksmith if this will help eventually

hi again car been off the road now for 2 months spent a small fortune on rosstech and cables does any one know how to change or code this fault or is there another website to get the expert advise i need 01794 - Control Module - Incorrect Chassis (VIN) Number
