Hi all,

I have a 2017 Scirocco with G61 knock sensor fault that keeps coming back. I have changed the sensor but this made no difference.

I'm now suspecting a wiring fault. I did a brief bit of logging; would these voltage values be considered "too low?" I have no reference to what the voltage should be.
Logs

Does anybody know the pin/wire colour I need to check on the ECU side?

I've also read some comments by Dana about MAP sensor faults can cause false knock errors on Golf V-based cars. I have one on order as this car was involved in a light front accident, and when I got the car the MAP sensor was lying disconnected in the engine bay. A lot of the plastic on the intake had shattered so I'm guessing the sensor got dislodged and smashed itself around the bay for a brief moment. It looks fine but who knows...

Issue resolved, it was wiring.

With the help of a diagram from Erwin I decided to check the 2 wires from G61 to ECU (yellow to pin 55, green to pin 56). At this point I found damaged wires that were hidden by a black cable sleeving.
