I added my VCDS serial # and saved it to my profile, how do I become verified?
See How-To-Get-VerifiedI added my VCDS serial # and saved it to my profile, how do I become verified?

"my VCDS " ? But..........., its not your vcds . (?) Verification (as I read "how to get verified") is for the documented owner ; if they are willing to let you use their VCDS, that's between you two or three or four......I added my VCDS serial # and saved it to my profile, how do I become verified?
3) You bought a second-hand system and aren't eligible for support. You can still post in the New User section of the forum, but you won't get posting access to most of the rest of the forum unless/until you elect to transfer ownership of that system into your name. You can do that here at a cost of $99.
A VIN-Limited interface that's being shared in a shop, with a company name of "N/A" when it was registered? Can he (the registered user) authorize me to use the forums?
It's not VIN limited as far as I know, and yes, there is no company name. So what? Is it that unreasonable to ask for access when the registered user will not be using the forum? Isn't it fair that ONE paying customer is allowed ONE access to the forums?A VIN-Limited interface that's being shared in a shop, with a company name of "N/A" when it was registered?

You're right, it's not. That's our mistake. Your friend bought a 3-VIN interface from a distributor. He then paid for a one-step upgrade, which should have been to 10 VINs. But someone here goofed and gave him a Feature Code for Unlimited VINs.It's not VIN limited as far as I know
Yes, I consider it unreasonable. The registered user is eligible. Nobody else is. If you'd like to switch the registration into your name, you can do so here.Is it that unreasonable to ask for access when the registered user will not be using the forum?
