Is it possible to upgrade it to Traffic Jam Assist? I've read some post a week ago and someone did that, but now cannot find it
I presume it will need to be flashed to different SW

654L is capable of TJA. I have the retrofitted the same camera on my Leon. It's just a matter of parameter file so you will need the other tool.

I think he posted the solution already. As it requires another tool than VCDS to complete I don't think it's appropriate to share the solution here.

I can understand not posting the second step on this forum but still could post the first one at least - "coding with vcds"...

There’s basically nothing to code with vcds. TJA is fully in parameters.
Emergency assist is something you can code but TJA is not
