Short suggestion: If scanning a non UDS car (like Polo 9N), VCDS tries ALL ECUs for the AutoScan. Fine. Hitting Clear DTCs (for all ECUs) tries ALL ECUS AGAIN. That not necessary. VCDS could store detected ECUS for that moment (until AS-dialog will be closed) and only use that list for that task. Saves some time :)

I think you mean cars that don't gave a proper Gateway Installation List, rather than "Non-UDS"?

There are plenty of cars made between ~2004 and ~2010 that have proper Gateway Installation Lists, but not a single UDS module.

Yea, then that what you said, I was not aware of that. I habe only two examples noticing that: 98 Passat 3B5 and that Polo 9N 1.4L. Other cars were UDS Golf, Fabia 2 or newer, so I thought that is because of UDS.

some ideas about this or not worth it because those cars would constantly decrease?

If you want this primarily for your own cars, why not just make custom Auto-Scan entries for them that have exactly the list of modules installed on those cars?
