I recently attempted to have a dealer install a GLI cluster on my car [MK6 Jetta S Facelift]. Most of the cluster works, it shows what doors (trunk and hood as well) are open, what the current fuel level is, and what the coolant temp is. Some things that don't work on the cluster are: Turn signals don't show up on it (works outside), the cluster doesn't know if the lights are on so it blacks out the cluster at night, and the high beam indicator doesn't work either. It also comes up with an ESC fault message on startup.
Was this just not installed correctly, or was my car never able to run this cluster in the first place? (I'm assuming it may be the latter but I just want to confirm.)
