I upgraded from an older Ross-Tech USB cable that I got for my 06 Audi A3 8p to the new Hex-Net interface since it would work with my new VW 2015 Golf Sportwagen Tdi.
Today I installed the latest VCDS on my new laptop, and downloaded the latest FW for the interface.
I got this when I try to Auto-Scan the VW, or choose the correct chassis (AU) and try to scan:

Chassis Type: AU-VW37 (AU - VW Golf/Jetta VII NAR (2015 >))
Scan: Auto-detect
Function not supported by the gateway.

Help please. I have been getting intermittent check engine lights and this is a CPO diesel. I need to see what is going on before going to the dealer.

Thanks,
JV

Auto-Detect is definitely supported by VCDS.
- Make sure the ignition is on.
- Make sure you don't have "Bypass CAN Init" checked on the Option screen in VCDS.
- Post up the exact results from [Options] -> [Test].
