Hi,

how do you guys do this?

add interior light as light function on lightchannel for leaving home?
And driverdoor manual for coming home? We dont want to use the flash highbeam handle, just open door..

Thanks in advance

As you already wrote:
Add the light function "Interior light" to the desired Leuchte as "Lichtfunktion" in BCM adaptions. Check also, if the Dimming Direction and Dimming value fits your needs.
There are no settings to configure. The emulated CH/LH will always kick of when the Interior light is triggered by the BCM.

@Vagcomlimburg: Hi, To add to @TBAx response, and specifically in regard to your other question above, the BCM normally requires the adaptation channel ENG141656-ENG116601-Außenlicht_uebergreifend-Coming Home Verbaustatus to be set to automatic . However, this won't work on cars that don't have an AUTO position on the LDS (which your car won't have because no light-sensor). So - not possible, alas.

@Vagcomlimburg : hmm.......... unless someone else here says to the contrary, again - alas NO. The method that @TBAx describes isn't CH/LH; it's a surrogate for these functions only. In truth, both CH and LH have very specific requirements to operate successfully - so there's not much flexibility for deviation.

@DV52 is right. The interior light version is not a fully fledged CH/LH replacement but more like a "light" or rather "zero" variant.
