I thought I trying to get some ides about my DSG problem before I heading to a garage and let them rip me off.

Unfortunately I lost the scans with the faults

It is just a general question regarding the symptoms.

It is a DQ500 DSG

The fault codes I used to have was related to gear changes was not able to put in 1 ,4 ,N I went to limp mode many times and restarting the engine solved the issues. The code was deleted and car was drive fine

When the box cold I feel some juddering and sometimes I feel it uphill on low gear but only when the box cold.

If the box warm the only issues I have is when I brake to a full stop and wanting to drive again sometimes the box kicks it to gear soo hard I feel like I left my gear box on the road

I also feel this kick in gear thing in roundabouts but only if I drive it fast.

I can use the car for months before any issue and when it happens I delete the code and it works properly agin.

VW wants to change the whole box and a vw specialist wants to change the Mechatronics

But I hoping it something else because it started showing symptoms after a DSG service. since than nI find out the garage who done the job is a cowboy garage. They made huge mistakes during my engine refurb so it possible that they not serviced the Box properly and there is not enough oil in the box

My questions would be .

Can all this happen due to a lack of oil in the box?

What test I can do with VCDS to properly check the gearbox?

" before I heading to a garage and let them rip me off.". Given that a lot of people you are asking for help from here work in the motor trade/run garages/are skilled technicians, you probably haven't done yourself any favours.

Well I do not have good experience with the garages. I know there are some good guys out there. But for some reason I have not meet them yet. Not in the past three years.

I hade three won cases on small claims court against cowboy garages.

Those registered in a forum like this maybe willing to help people without gaining anything financially that is where a good advice coming from.

Do not have to take it personally HMC if you are on the trade you must know that not all garages conduct its business professionally. If you do not want to help do not have to.

it has 87500 miles but being in the UK mileage might not correct

I bought it without service history but at 83000 I had full engine refurb and DSG service and right after the issues started.

What i find out about the dsg service is that the garage did not do it a proper way. They did it on a cold box so it might have less oil than it supposed to have.

It strange though when it warmed up no juddering anymore.
