Hi, I've been going over the help documentation on the main website and as I have understood, airbag modules after a certain year are not index color coded. Therefore how one would program a new airbag module using VCDS? Meaning what info should I have at my disposal? The VIN?

I would expect in a 2019 Tiguan, the airbag module is part of the Component Protection constellation, meaning it access to VW's coroprate servers is required. If installing a new airbag module in this vehicle is your main reason for buying VCDS, I'll advise against it.

That is correct. That is my main reason for investing in this product.I had no idea that a system such as the CP constellation existed. Is clear to me now that it would not be possible to code without access to that. This has been of great help thank you very much.
