Hi guys,

I scanned my car today after updating to latest version. This is the error I got. The only difference between this and my last scan is the 8 after the 4 zeros. I did change some adaptations but don't believe I changed any coding in the 5F module since there isn't anything in the long coding helper to change. I'm afraid to change the 8 back to a zero willy nilly .

help would be appreciated.

Chris

@kczach: Hi. "the 8 after the 4 zeros" happens to be Byte 6 on the long-code string which has the value hex80, or in binary 1000 0000. This means that you have set the software switch on Bit 7 - which controls one of the audio channels (#12) in the module.
Should be OK to flip this setting, clear the DTC and see what happens!

Thanks Don,

I flipped the setting and life is good now. Not sure how it got changed in the first place though. I guess it's good to keep logs.
Thanks for your input.

Cheers
