In your case, since that HEX-V2 is already registered to you, nothing.

Hi, I used the wrong email when registering my HEX-V2 and then immediately re-submitted the registration for the correct email(matching the one I used to register to this forum). Because of this, I assume the wrong email registration automatically sent me an approval along with a transaction ID to finalize the registration, while the correct email was sent an under review email(which im assuming was manually checked and then approved later that night). When I received the first transaction ID, I submitted it in VCDS which finalized the registration. I just typed in the second transaction ID(correct email, matches my forum registration) to update the email registered to my HEX-V2. Is there a way to check if my device is registered to the correct email? Im also seeking approval for verification status if it has not been automatically applied. Thank you.

Hello all,I'm pretty sure this is due to user error, but I just bought my unit a month ago and it seems to be properly registered (I got a confirmation code/it does work) and it indicates that it is verified on the 'about/info page' ,but every time I plug it into my car,a message box keeps saying "you have X many times left until it stops working" .It started with 13 uses iirc, and it is now down to 11x . Did I hit the wrong button during registration?

FYI,I'm not a 'computer person' at all,I just bought the RossTech so I would be able to work on my new-to-me '18 GTI without having to go to the shop every time a CEL goes off.Thanks for any info on this.
