Just as a heads up for other numbnuts like me: there are three pieces of licence information in the registration form, TWO of which are requiered. I think I gave just one on my previous attempts, hence the predicament

I think I'm being too dense. The fields for the serial number in the form are turning yellow. I'm completely overwhelmed. I bought my VCDS from PCI Diagnosetechnik in Germany (May 2013).
Perhaps a moderator could help me via private message?

Your interface should have a number that starts with "AVT". Use that in the Certificate Number field. Leave the Short Serial Number field blank. Put the serial number from the [About] screen in VCDS in the Long Serial Number field.

Yes, done, but it might have been easier if you had used the same e-mail address for the forum as you interface registration.

Since you joined the forum long before you registered your system with us for support, yes, you have to bring it to our attention somehow, because we are not in a position to check every new product registration that comes in to see if it might correspond to a forum user who will be eligible to be Verified as a result.
