I have done some searching and although I appreciate it's a network code I am unable to find any more information, can anyone advise what the code refers to?

We need more information. What version of VCDS are you running? what module was this code in?

Please post an autoscan using the latest 20.12 release of VCDS.

I don't know if it will make any difference but it might be an idea to update to the latest 20.12 version of VCDS.

I got a similar "unknown Fault" today, do you have an answer for this one too?
Car is a 2018 Tiguan SE, Latest VCDS with HEX-NET interface.
CEL came on but car's "info system" showed no problem. VCDS shows the following fault code.

I don't like it when someone posts a problem and doesn't post the solution so here goes:
The error code U3501 was "cured" by simply recharging my battery. I don't drive as much since I retired (no commute) and Covid has made it even worse. However, after several weeks it became clear that my battery was on it's last legs so it was replaced today. My OEM battery lasted almost 3.5 years which is close to a record here in Las Vegas. I can't complain.

P.S. I have no idea what/where Input Power "A" circuit is. Is there also an Input Power "B" circuit? I guess its not really important at this point.
