Thanks, I have seen this before.
There are no faults in the transmission control module and
there is no issue with transmission itself. It works perfectly.
The problem is sudden and randomly happening movements of the steering wheel to the right while driving. Obvious cause could be failing CV joint(inner and/or outer) but his is not the case. Actually whole suspension, drive train and all wheel bearings have been carefully inspected and no malfunctions were found.
As there was only one fault logged on the vehicle (Passat B5 2003) I decided to focus on itself.
So far I have managed to confirm that once I remove fuse this malfunction is not taking place, fault in question doesn’t come back and vehicle drives perfectly.
The only conclusion I can make is that my vehicle is applying brakes(in very random fashion) on my front RHS wheel. Obvious this is happening when I am driving and not actually pressing the brake pedal.
Can someone please advise as this seems very serious safety concern?
P.S. Sorry I still didn't get a chance to do autoscan.
