Hi:
I have a 2010 Audi A4 with an 0B5 DSG transmission. It has developed a fairly severe judder when accelerating gently from low speed in 2nd gear. Reverse also feels 'reluctant' to move off at times. No codes generated.
We suspect the clutch needs changing however my mechanic has suggested I do the Basic Setting' for the transmission and see if it makes any difference before getting into an expensive clutch replacement.
I have tried following the procedure in the Wiki (below) but on the first step (Erase counter for start and stop processes) I am getting 'Error: Request out of Range'. (In park, engine off, ignition on, temp 53.)
Not sure if I am missing a prerequisite step or what. I believe I will need to run this step if I change the clutch so would like to get it sorted.
