Adding Cupra FLAG to Virtual Display

Hello People,

I have retrofit an VC to this Cupra before facelift. I have done all coding, but I can't get the CUPRA flag in the instrument.
I have read that need to change the coding in Byte 2 bit 3-6 to Variant 5. Have tried this but no result.

This works for MK7 for Seat it is totally different. I have checked all adapt logs for org Cupra. All values are same.

Maybe Cupra has a different sw in digital cluster?

And those adaptations above work for several VW range cars, I’ve actually changed them on Passat, Tiguan and Golf.

I have seen your log. As you can see byte 2 is the same. That causes the Cupra flag. Only thing I can see is that your sw is 1701 and mine is 1703. I have read on some forum that some sw support and some dont. I have sports display and also the cupra illustration, but no flag.

If I'm not mistaken I have seen people with some of the latest production Leon Cupra 5Fs (late 2019-early 2020) complaining about the absense of the Cupra flag. So you're probably right about the sw version and thanks for letting me know that I must mever update my VC unless it's a matter of life amd death!!

Yes so that is what I also have noticed! I think the newer versions don't have the Cupra flag anymore. I see the picture of the Cupra but no Flag too bad.
