Unusual report caused by new model?

Hi All,

I did a Auto-Scan yesterday on a 2020 Seat Leon however I got back a very unusual report and a pile of errors including on one occasion an error saying that the vehicle is not supported by my interface and I should look to upgrade?

Is this just due to the vehicle being a 2020 vehicle and not fully supported at the moment?

I notice there is no Installation List at the top of your Auto-Scan, you should use the option for VCDS to do th Auto-Scan by first interrogating the CAN Gateway to be told which modules are actually fitted.

Try that and post the result of the new Auto-Scan are.

Hi Dave,

Thanks for the response.

I always do a gateway scan but the scan kept suggesting all the modules, some of which the vehicle is clearly not fitted with.

I have just checked my other logs, it appears it didn't do a gateway scan this time, The other scans did work however some modules still didn't respond but this may be due to the vehicle being accident damaged.

Looks like this is partly my fault although I cant understand why it was asking me to change my interface as I have a UK unlimited vin's unit which I believe covers all except Lamborghini.

I presume that means you have a HEX-V2 or HEX-NET? Both of which are fine on a 2013MY Leon.

Suggesting all modules MIGHT suggest that in the intervening 7 years either someone has been 'tweaking' the Gateway Installation List or it's got corrupted?

I think the first step is to get the Gateway Installation List to match what is actually fitted to the vehicle.

Looks like I have solved my issues with this, I have just had the same problem with an Audi Q2, due to this I decided to reinstall the software which has now resolved all of the issues.
