I would like to know if its possible to check how much charge my battery has, i charged at a few days ago, seems ok, stop/start never works so just curious to see if battery is up to scratch.

Advanced Measuring Values:
IDE01839 -- Battery charge condition (%)

Or the traditional way: Don't turn anything on for several hours and then use a multimeter to read the battery's voltage while the battery is "at rest".

My MY15 S3 returns nonsence values for that and several following IDE parameters. The car is not equipped with Energy Management. If EM module is provided it should appear on the AutoScan list .
Another reason for posting scans with Qs.

His car never had Start/Stop at all and, nor a battery management module (what he's referring to as an "EM module').

Your measurements do not represent battery voltage at rest. Your car is very much "awake" and drawing 11.5 amps from battery.

To check real rest voltage, leave your car sitting with hood open and ignition off, wait at least few hours or over night. Then measure battery voltage with a multimeter.

I don't "do" start/stop. I only own/drive one vehicle that had it from the factory and it is disabled, so I really don't know if those readings are adequate for it to operate.

Ok..... Ive Plugged my vcds in a different audi A3 with stop start that is working, ive noticed this with vcds..... In can gateway(19) measuring values
Start/stop enable it says 'All releases are present'
In mine it says 'No release by coordinator'
No idea what that means, something obviously do with stop/start..... If anyone can shed any ideas?

It means some other module(s) have decided some condition(s) for start/stop have not been met.

I don't have a problem with stop/start

Making sense of the battery values is what I needed

Has your stop/start ever worked?
