I would like to know if its possible to check how much charge my battery has, i charged at a few days ago, seems ok, stop/start never works so just curious to see if battery is up to scratch.

Advanced Measuring Values:
IDE01839 -- Battery charge condition (%)
Or the traditional way: Don't turn anything on for several hours and then use a multimeter to read the battery's voltage while the battery is "at rest".

My MY15 S3 returns nonsence values for that and several following IDE parameters. The car is not equipped with Energy Management. If EM module is provided it should appear on the AutoScan list .here it is...........cars not been driven or started for around 15 hours.
battery voltage 12.070 v
battery current -11.547 A
temp of battery sensor 11c
battery charge condition 74%
battery internal resistance 6.4 m0hm
usable battery charge 29Ah
battery voltage at rest 12.4 V

Another reason for posting scans with Qs.
His car never had Start/Stop at all and, nor a battery management module (what he's referring to as an "EM module').You've lost me
Oh right ok thanks for that..... Mine does it has the switch and comes up on the dash with a line through the letter" A"......... ive also checked with audi. His car never had Start/Stop at all and, nor a battery management module (what he's referring to as an "EM module').

I don't "do" start/stop. I only own/drive one vehicle that had it from the factory and it is disabled, so I really don't know if those readings are adequate for it to operate.I have posted my battery readings to you, can you please confirm they are ok?
It means some other module(s) have decided some condition(s) for start/stop have not been met.In mine it says 'No release by coordinator'
No idea what that means, something obviously do with stop/start..... If anyone can shed any ideas?
Oh right THANKS!It means some other module(s) have decided some condition(s) for start/stop have not been met.
