Battery code confusion help please

Hi, i am about to replace my battery and i have checked the current code to the current battery via vcds and all match up..I know that there is a BEM code a part No code and a serial number ..I have watched the procedure for putting the code in however when i check my code it as Amps first 3 digit  068 ,then vender JCB 3 digit , then the 10 digit serial number  no part number in it at all..When i check the pop up box  information on vcds it does give me this format..Would this be correct in leaving out the part number ..

Hello, you can use as serial number 1111111113 or as date 2020311000,

Mainly 10 digits.

It's so normal with your controller.
Your format for your ECU is AAA BBB NNNNNNNNN

I have seen that video,mine is 19 can gateway (can) long adaptation ,batery info /replace when i get the pop up window my format is different ,it says amps,vendor ,serial number ..

It might be difficult for us to make a video of this one since I don't think that particular variate of battery management exists on any cars we would have access to.

However, it's not hard to "code" a new battery. Go to 61: Battery Regul, Adaptation channel 004, and put in the new data in the following format:

AAA BBB NNNNNNNNNN
AAA = Battery Size (e.g. 68 Ah = 068 / 3 Digits)
BBB = Battery Vendor (3 Digits)
NNNNNNNNNN = Battery Serial Number (10 Alphanumeric Digits)

Battery Vendor List:
5DO = Boading
TU3 = Exide
MLA = Moll
JCB = JCI
VA0 = Varta
UM5 = Akuma

Hi, i have the battery arriving tomorrow ,the current battery is a Varta and i have gone for the same as recommended ..I will be fitting it in the next coupe of days and will do the procedure as above (and what my pop up info tells me) Amps Vendor Serial No
Car is a 2011 1.6tdi CAYC Audi A3 Cabriolet

Received the battery this morning unfortunately it is damaged. It is being returned for a replacement. On the new battery there is just one sticker with Varta code and that is just a 12 digit code A 26 E39 004 60W .
I asked sales if they had any idea what the digits related to as i just need a serial number as i know the amps and vendor ,they couldn't help ..I presume having the old serial number i would just have to change one digit and input the new AH and vendor ..Very confusing all i want to do is change a battery..Psjust to confirm that varta vender is zero and not the letter O ..

Update - I have replaced the battery and changed Ah from 068 to 070 JCB to VAO and changed one digit in the serial number test and save ,got a pop up asking if i was sure .Done and closed .
Stop start not working this morning after a 25 mile journey but i had radio, lights and heater on ..Not to bothered about stop start as i find it a pain..

@PetrolDave Your right it's back caught me out on the way home ,but then i suppose it's shows my battery was not up for it and the current one is fine ..Just have to get used to switching it off when i get in the car ..
