Hi Folks,
I'm a newbie here but a longtime user of Ross Techs great diagnostic tools.
This problem is with my wifes car. she was driving and went to accelerate away at an intersection and nothing happened, she described it "like her foot has slipped of the accelerator." Next the dash lights ups like a Christmas tree with multiple warning lamps lit..!! Apart from this glitch the car drives as normal.
I hooked up the VAG Com and did a scan, below is an edited version of the log with multiple fault codes showing for ABS, Haldex 4WD system and Steering. The codes clear OK but return as soon as the car is started and moved. The steering fault may be a red herring looking at the date and time is was logged??
I suspect it is one issue somewhere which is causing this chain of events and I’m thinking it may be the ABS sensor on the left rear wheel that is the culprit but this is just a hunch. I’d appreciate input from others who may have experience a similar set of of faults and what the outcome was.
