Hi there friends,
It's been a while since I've posted, as I sadly turned in my vw during the buy back.

I'm here as I'm trying to help a friend. His 2.5 has intermittent starting issues.

Typically, the car will not start on the initial try. You crank the key and nothing
But if you try again right after, it fires right up.

I am almost certain it's something with the fuel system. Either the pump or regulator.

What kind of fuel pressure should it be seeing at start up?
Is it 2.5 BAR?

also, apart from a full scan what other parameters should I check and or log?

Thank you

What does this mean? Engine cranks, but won't fire? Or engine won't even turn over?
