Dear All,

just another time the question about how to turn off the buzzer when the driver's door is opened and the car is running.
My car is a T-ROC 2020 and following the procedure:

Adaptation-10

Ignition Active Message, Actuator ------ No Display

The buzzer is still on.

Have you suggestion how to solve the problem?

The procedure to remove the seat belt buzzer works.

@TAL: HI.
My understanding of how this tweak works on MQB platform cars is in the name of the adaptation channel; specifically the word "ignition". So - if you select "No Display" for this channel , the factory set beep will be disabled when the ignition is turned-on. Importantly, the beep is not disabled when the engine is running. I'm not aware of a tweak for this latter situation

First time I've heard about this kind of behaviour. My both MQB cars (MY14 A3 and MY17 Kodiaq) with this "No Display" adaptation keep silent when I open driver's door. Doesn't matter if engine is running or not.

Maybe it's different in MY20 cars then?

I have the same behaviour as Mika. The ignition actuator channel dictates what is will you see or hear when the drivers door is opened if ignition is on or engine running. Setting it to no display removes the warning from the cluster and silences the annoying beeping sound you'll hear.

And forgot. Same behaviour on MY13 Leon and MY17 Tiguan.

I have spoken with VW dealer and this buzzer for safety reason it is not possible to deactivate.

Just for interest, ask them if it's been like that always. Most likely they'll say yes which is a load of bull and at the same time invalidates everything they've said so far.

Amazing that for safety reasons, you can remove the seat belt warning but you CAN'T remove the open door warning. You can't even change the volume. That makes a lot of sense!

Every time I open my door, I feel like the car is going to explode, single most annoying feature of my new car.
