I recently retrofitted a trailer module to my 2014 (UK) Touareg and I'm having an issue with the brake lights on my caravan.
All other lights work correctly, Indicators, reverse, fog, sidelights/marker lights just the brake lights.
When connected the brake lights remain illuminated on my caravan but work normally on the car.
The following fault code is logged on the Trailer module;
1 Fault Found:
00526 - Brake Light Switch (F)
008 - Implausible Signal
