Hi there!

I have mounted 3 NBB Alpha lights in front of my 2017 passat r-line. This resulted in a lack of "free view" for the ACC/camera behind the VW emblem. Does anyone know how to disable the camera so I do not get all the warnings in my dash? I would like to disable the camera during the winter, and then enable it during the summer.

Does anyone know how to do this?

Extra question: Is it possible to enable street sign recognition in VCDS with my current camera, or do i need to install a different camera?

Thanks, Daniel.

Shortly even without autoscan, I can say not possible.

You need to mount the lights elsewhere or find a more acceptable light bar or similar that does not block the ACC view.

Or then you just need to live with the front assist disabled warning on the dash and lack of ACC & emergency brake.

Even if you disable ACC, you will lose normal cruise control also. Better to situate the additional lights so they don't interfere with the ACC radar.
