VW Marine 5th cylinder

Hi

I'm new to the forum and know very little about engines or diagnostics so please be gentle

My boat has a VW marine diesel, 120hp, 5 cylinder TDI. The Ross-Tech diagnostic works well and I'm using the dedicated VW Marine engine type. My question is how I get data for the 5th injector as only 4 are shown (screen 013).

Hi and welcome, to be able to answer your question we'll need to see a full unedited VCDS Auto-Scan of your VW marine diesel - see my sig for a link to a How-To.

Many thanks but I've tried autoscan and it will not allow it on the VW marine engine. Say's something like ...not supported.... Sorry, I'm not on board to give exact message (still have to work for a living).

Instead of selecting the automatic option (which won't work because of the lack of a CAN Gateway) select only address 01 (the engine ECU) to be scanned.

And post channel maps from engine.

- Controller Address = 01
- Login or security code: Leave blank
- Function: Measuring values and Adaptations
- Output: CSV file

Files are placed in C:\Roos-Tech\VCDS\Logs

Try the MVB group 014 for the last injector
