Hi all,
Audi Q5 (stock, not modified) started to give some whistling noise under the hood, from the Oil separator/PCV valve, small hole on top of it was drawing air at idle, the rubber diaphragm was fractured. So I changed it for a new Oil separator (06K103495BL) from a local Audi dealer. I thought it fixed the problem and I drove the car few miles and wished the check engine light would disappear, but it didn't. So I thought I will have to get the HEX-V2 to clear the codes and move on. I got it and did the Auto-Scan, found out that not only it had diagnostic trouble code P2279 for Leak in Air Intake System, but also some other codes too. So, please tell me should I do some more repairs or checking before I clear all fault codes? Also at Audiworld forum somebody wrote that a new updated PCV-valve requires the ECU to be updated, is this true, should I got to Audi-dealer to update the ECU? Here is the Auto-Scan..
