Thank you, attempted to do it there but it appears my interface is too old (hex+can) as all tge boxes are grey and unselectable

gus: bummer!!! But fortunately the benevolent pricing-angels @ Ross-Tech have recognized the loyalty of their past patrons; there is a special option for the new HEX-series devices for those of us (like you) that need to upgrade HERE.

But, as is indicated in the web-page, the special deal is only available for "registered VCDS (VAG-COM) users in good standing". I have never understood how one's "good standing" is established, but I suspect that the hurdle-test is low !!! ;)

Anyhow, assuming that Ross-Tech is not able to determine a registered user's criminal/civil-disobedience history, or their psychopathic tendencies (only joking) - this offer might be worth considering.

PS: I have transitioned from HEX+CAN to HEX-NET and the increased performance is amazing; the new device is much more quicker-er (it runs like a cut-cat!!)
