2001 Audi A4 1.8L Delete AIR pump operation with coding?

Hello RTF, I have a friend who will be racing this 2001 Audi A4 1.8L Off-Road. He has removed all the AIR pump components. He is wondering if it is possible to go in the PCM coding and remove the Air Pump operation so his CEL will stay off.

No it is not possible. ONLY way to do this is to tune ECU, anyway if is going to racing this car he has to do tuning anyway and any tuner will be able to do this.
