The front area view camera sits in lower front bumper, the rear camera is the same as the reversing camera, the camera behind the front grille is for front assist. if you are changing the door mirrors a point to note is that you will have to get the ADAS re calibrated by either a dealer or specialist.

A5 camera has its own calibration procedure, area view four cameras has also its own calibration procedure, as well for side assist like ACC radar...

And rear camera isn't the same. The single rear camera needs its own target, own controller. The rear area view camera is driven by area view controller and uses area view target.

But indeed, if you change or remove mirrors, you need to re calibrate it.
