Hi,
I've got 2.5Tdi T5 van. I was driving yesterday and the coil / engine management light started flashing. Plugged in my VCDS and got the following:

Thursday,30,April,2020,11:01:44:41168
VCDS Release 20.4.1 (x64): Generic OBD2
Mode 03: Emission related fault codes

Address 10 (Engine): No fault code found.

Initially it did come up saying brake light switch fault, but on clearing it has not returned, and the management light has now gone off too.

Any ideas what could have caused this?

Thanks.

Please post a full VCDS Auto-Scan not just a small snippet, that will give us more relevant information about how your T5 is equipped.

2007 van doesn't support full VCDS scan?

Yes it does, you need to manually select the chassis type using the pull-down option as the auto-detect function doesn't work on that platform (not supported by the CAN Gateway).

Ah right, I didn't know this. Will have another look and post what I find. Thanks.
