Codes on 8J TTRS Mag Delete with KW Cancellation Kit Installed

So I installed KW V3 suspension about 6 months ago and tried to code out mag ride. That just doesn't work. I bought the KW mag ride cancellation kit and I think I coded everything back properly but still get faults with headlights and leveling sensor. Did I miss something? Could I have a bad right front sensor?

Since you're replacing factory parts with aftermarket stuff, moving to retrofits.

You're not the first person to have problems with KW suspension parts that are supposed to be "plug & play" replacements for DCC, but I'm not sure if anyone has ever found a solution.

What does KW have to say?

I did not. It started after I switched suspension. I've been doing alot of research on these cars and the mag ride delete process. Alot of people complain about the headlight range error and leveling errors. So I thought it was a case of not really being able to code out the mag ride. So that's when I decided to code everything back to stock and get the cancellation kit from KW. I put on the cancellation kit and same errors. That is where I am now....could this just be a case of a bad sensor? The scan shows errors on right front under susp elec and front/rear under headlights. It sounds like these sensors on the mag ride equipped TT-RS are wired in series and are reliant on the mag ride control unit so could the front right be my problem and causing errors from the rear on the headlight section?

I have a 2014 8J TTS and just had replaced the Mag Ride with Bilstien B6 Dampers. What process did you use to code out the mag ride. I was just about to do the same and can see if it repeats on my car.

The wiring to the sensor at the connector was broken. I fixed that and suspension issues are gone. However, I still get headlight range control issues.

I fixed it. Went through the headlight learning from the Ross Tech Diagnostic wiki and solved my problem. No MIL's and no codes! The KW cancellation kit is working fine and the car still thinks it has Mag ride.

You basically pull fuse 9 - which is for the mag ride control.
Recode the instrument cluster so the shock warning light goes off.
You also recode the suspension to a TTS with regular suspension.

Two questions -

(1) Is there a definitive set of instructions for Mag Ride delete on an Audi TT (8J) including all the applicable code and setting changes? I keep finding bits and pieces here and there, but no one seems to have published start to finish set of instructions that works.

(2) I can't find the Ross Tech Wiki for 00496 - Sensor for Vehicle Leveling; Front. There's one for 00497; Rear but not 00496; front.

I haven't seen one. Sounds like someone that owns such a car and works through the process should post/publish it. Spoiler: Nobody at Ross-Tech owns an 8J TT.

I wouldn't think the front sensor is very different from the rear one.
