A 2008 A4 is not a UDS cluster.

But it does have the other two counters (time based inspection and mileage based inspection) in addition to the normal oil service.

This works on some of the VWs and SEATs of the same era. Not sure it works on an Audi A4 but no harm in giving it a try...

  1. Press and hold the odometer reset knob in.
  2. Turn the ignition on but do not start the car.
  3. Turn the odometer reset knob to the right and hold for ~5 seconds.
  4. Release the odometer reset knob and then switch the ignition off.
  5. Start the car and the service indicator should now be gone.

Please let us know if this works on your car or not.

Please post up the values in all your SRI-related channels. The easiest way to do that is to click [SRI Reset], wait for VCDS to read all the channels, then [Save to logfile]. The log will be in your Logs sub-folder, typically C:\Ross-Tech\VCDS\Logs\

A screen-shot won't do because the screen isn't big enough to show all the channels.
