no button, turns on and off from the screen, but I like to have the button

demonjrm: I've been tackling the same issue on my mk7 Golf, and what you describe is similar in my car.

I'm not sure if I have transgressed forum etiquette here (given golfi_vend's post) and I hope that the Benevolent Dictator will be kind in his advice to the contrary, but here's how the TCS/ESP button works on my car. As you can see it uses the same PIN-OUT as you have described. The problem with my model is that I suspect I will need to tell the ABS control module that the button is installed (once fitted). My suspicion is that this is done with a coding change to the control module, but there is not much coding information on address 03 for my car at the moment in the current RT software. So work-in-progress at this stage, for me

Yes, we have to respect copyrights, but there is also the concept of "fair use" which probably allows small snippets of schematics. For example, I think DV52's post above is fine.
