This code will not clear out of the ABS module, verified powers/grounds for the ABS module are to factory design, so odds are a failed ABS. MK60EC1 module, so no surprises here. I was asked about the airbag light:

This code will not clear out as well, but lets not worry about it. In many cases, you can get POD module type fault codes causes by the ABS module (or EPB if the vehicle is equipped). I don't know why this happens, but IMHO it is best to sort out the ABS issue first and then see if you still issues in the airbag system.
A new ABS module was installed, I copy/pasted coding into the new unit and did all the basic settings. Once the ABS module was all sorted out, I did have to do the Basic Settings for the POD (details here) and then there were no codes in the airbag.
EXTRA BONUS:
When trying to sort out the 00003 fault code in the ABS module, you have to do the Basic Settings 025 and 026 while the engine is running. But this heats up the ABS module and at some point, too much heat in the ABS will prevent the 025 or 026 Basic Settings from being carried out. We shoved an aerated aluminum plate between the ABS module and engine to act as a heat shield. And as I was doing the test, I had the owner of the vehicle spray brake cleaner on the valve block a few times. This kept the temp of the ABS down and as a result, I got both 025 and 026 Basic Settings "Calibrated" back to back. If you have some sort of heat shield material (the stuff used for firewalls), then see about shielding the ABS module to help keep it cool while doing the Basic Settings.

This kept the temp of the ABS down and as a result, I got both 025 and 026 Basic Settings "Calibrated" back to back. If you have some sort of heat shield material (the stuff used for firewalls), then see about shielding the ABS module to help keep it cool while doing the Basic Settings.
