Hello everybody :-)

Just got my brand new HEX-V2 from Ross-Tech and i am a complete newby, but i love tweaking with my cars so here i am :)

So i just scanned my new T-ROC which i bought yesterday, and its only 7 months old. When i ran the auto-scan i got some fault codes which i don't understand.
The car has warranty so i don't worry so much, but i am not sure if these fault codes are serious issues or is it just alright to clear them. Can someone translate them for me and tell me if i should be worried or not.

I'm by no means an authoritative forum member when it comes to the black arts of interpreting DTCs - but as a general approach, I always find it illuminating to reference both the date-time, mileage of the first part of the auto-scan, and the same info on the actual DTC (including the "Fault frequency")

In your auto-scan, my approach suggests as follows for example:

The scan was taken on Friday,29,November,2019 @ 23:08:20 (wow - you were up late at night!) and the mileage was 26192km

Let's take the DTC on the Address 02 module:

Fault Priority: 0
Fault Frequency: 1
Mileage: 25289 km
Date: 2019.09.23
Time: 18:48:58

Because the Fault Frequency=1, this data tells you that the error was first recorded on 23rd September 2019 (i.e. when the car was not in your possession) and that the fault has not re-occurred on any subsequent ignition cycle. So - because the DTC was recorded about two months ago and because the car has traveled about 900 kms since that first (and only) recorded error - it's fair to say (I think) that this is what accountants would call an "aged" DTC.

In any event - the DTCs appear to be intermittent (and "aged") - so even if you raised these as a warranty matter, it will be very difficult to fault trace the original problem. This appears to be the general trend with the DTCs throughout your autoscan report. Probably better to just clear the errors and keep a record of the auto-scan in case they re-appear - I think. Of course if the DTCs reappear after clearing, it my be prudent to have a deep and meaningful chat to the dealer - I think!

PS: the tweak that you implemented to put a switch on the MENU to turn OFF/ON the DRLs - shouldn't be a problem in respect of the DTCs
