hi, just wonder if anyone been able to identify where to change speed at which spoiler comes up and down on A7 (or R8/TT(may be similar))

would like it to come up earlier (50mph) and go down later(30mph)...

Is this the Auto-Scan of your car?

Since it doesn't have a dedicated module for the spoiler, I'm not 100% certain what module actually controls the spoiler. The CCM at address 46 has a coding bit for "Rear Spoiler Installed" but I don't see anything else in there that looks promising.

Yeah Uwe, that's the car we received a scan from via e-mail. I don't know if altering the default speed is possible but the fact that with or without is in 46 coding makes me suspect modifications (if supported) would be in an Adp channel.

The OP may want to run Adaptation function control module maps and compare them. If this was my project I'd run 46 Adp maps:

1) Normal, no SA code.
2) Using SA code 22790
3) Using SA code 16017
4) Using SA code 51894 (mostly because the function of that one is unknown in MLB BCM2 modules)

After gathering a collection of maps they can be used to compare which channels are, and are not, accessible with each SA code. With any luck one corresponding to kilometers per hour opens up so it can be experimented with.

Maps are explained here: https://www.ross-tech.com/vcds/tour/controller-channels-map.php

I use a program called CompareIt! but you can use Excel (or similar) to compare data. If you would like someone here to compare the data please upload the maps to an online host (such as Google Drive) with a link to them -and- paste the contents here in the event someone wants to use the text.

Thanks for valued input!
I did checked all channels with initial code before, the only similar figure i found at that point was channel 13 with figure 87, what roughly corresponds to speed when spoiler goes down.
now after you tipped this SC looks like code 16017 unrevealed channel 203 with figure 133, what is similar to speed when spoiler activated..
played with this figures, changed activate to 100 but no luck, what if same thing need to be done in module 17? as if you want to delete spoiler you have to delete them in both modules not to get any faults?

ups... there's no channels in 17....

It sounds like you stumbled into the tail light channels. rlarsen has a bunch of excellent charts in our forum but this is a simple view of the tail light channels in question:

https://forums.ross-tech.com/showth...lamp-euro-coding&p=48947&viewfull=1#post48947

I'd change all channels back to their factory values at this point if you haven't already. The AdpLog.CSV file should be helpful if they weren't all reverted as you went.

https://forums.ross-tech.com/showthread.php?1029-CodingLog-and-AdpLog-little-safety-nets-for-you

If you would prefer to disable the spoiler function entirely then I would look to see which fuse powers it and pull it followed by coding 46 to see what happens in the next complete scan. If a single fuse for that component alone doesn't exist (because the fuse powers several things) then it may be necessary to unplug it directly before removing the coding bit in address 46.

Unplugging the spoiler will at least give a definitive answer as to which module controls the spoiler by checking which module throws errors... Or is it already known for a fact that its 46?

if you delete it from only one module, other one gives fault, so i think it is on both of them, 17 and 46.

in fact, there is button on the dash to manually operate it, so one of the modules may only control that...
