I have followed this thread with the exception of setting all 05 adaption channels equal to similar Passat that has factory Easy open installed.

Output test does not clear this error no matter how long I try running it.

  • We have tried using ODIS to clear this error and come to the conclusion that there is no certain process involved but some combination of adaption channels should clear it.
  • Also tried installing parameters from a car that has factory easy open with no success.
  • Tried moving the 05 module to an Arteon that has factory easy open and using ODIS to match it. Worked instantly without any errors.

Today i have done this to Skoda Suberb. Ordered a complete set at Kufatec. Support is ****. In first time no work. Then I have test the guide here above and worked like a charm.

Please try those adaption channels. In first time i used also adaption from oem skoda with easy open. Wont work, fault code will not clear.

Had a similar fault when i retrofiited the a6 power tailgate. VCDS would not let me do the basic settings. Used odis offline and worked.

Hello.
I'd like to request if someone has adpmap of module 05/B7 from a Passat Wagon with easy open from factory.

But I'd ask it to be with Easy Open module of 3G0 962 243 B. Index here is very important. One without "B" isn't sufficent for me at this time.

Well I just finished this retrofit successfully yesterday.
I replaced the Easy Open module "3G0 962 243 C" with "3G0 962 243" and then was able to clear the error codes.

We tried the "Output Voltage test" and calibration with ODIS for the ""3G0 962 243 C" without success. The C module was new and current one is used.
