You have this thing called a keyboard. It allows you to change that byte to any value you wish.

But please note that changing Byte 18 is fraught with risk.

I can’t change byte 18 manually for whatever reason. It won’t allow any inputs via the keyboard.

Does that mean I can only change it to something in the available options? Does my BCM not accept any other values?

Yes you can change it to whatever you want by pasting in a new code. The fixed parameters are those that work for specific vehicles, but try anyone you want. Trial and error

Put the cursor in the box for Byte 18 in line 3) and type whatever value you want there.

Well I’m only saying what’s happening, which was byte 18 was not excepting a keyboard entry.

That’s why I asked if that’s a thing, it sounds like it isn’t so I shall try again 😀
