fixed with the 2 rear pressure retaining valves fitted. initially it did the same when going through adaption, then tried starting at channel 04 and working backover, however channel 5 was unavailable when I did, then went back through 1-4, accepted on 05 and all done. option appeared in dash menu again, cars sitting level now.
think it may need the 2 front done also as suggested by naushad which may have caused the initial issue on adaption?
I was surprised how easy it was to remove the rear struts, didn't buy the proper tool for the valves, just used locking pliers on one and stilsons on the other that was a bit tighter. neither snapped which was a surprise also!
