On a serious note, have you ever seen a turbine car in person? I saw a Honda CRX with a jet engine cruising around a busy shopping center, and the thing couldn't get out of its own way. Think turbo lag...x100! Think VW Mk1 diesel climbing a steep hill. Think 0-60 MPH on a calendar.....
