On the subject of microcontroller battery testing instead of load-drop testing, Project Farm finally got around to it.

That Foxwell tester looks pretty good, highly accurate based on his methodology.

As much as I'd like to stay with Windows 10, I don't feel that's reasonable once MS stops updating it; just like it wasn't realistic to stay with Windows 7 4-1/2 years ago. That was an excuse to buy new computers because the ones I was using were getting pretty long in the tooth. This time it isn't; my 4-1/2 year old computers are fine. Although I don't really need to, I might upgrade the SSDs and RAM in them, which would give me an excuse to open them up and blow out the dust.
