Interesting one for the EV folks:

Agreed, but at present there are very few EVs that use LFP batteries due to the marketing focus on range, which I believe to be stupid.

Meanwhile, I have some LFP solar batteries which, at least for as long as true 1:1 net metering remains a thing here, are configured for "full backup", meaning they will only get cycled in a power outage. But that also means they sit at 100% SoC all the time. I really wish there was a way to dial that down, but at present, there is not.

I wasn't commenting on your terminology, but rather the actions of the person driving that SUV. He'd doing his best to dispel the "Canadians are always polite" stereotype.

The driver was eventually taken into custody by police. They said Wednesday that 25-year-old Ramanpreet Singh has been charged with three counts of possession of property obtained by crime, flight from a peace officer, dangerous operation, and obstructing a police officer.

True... here, cops are more worried about their "hat head".... check out the dude who dove out of his cruiser.... he rolled on the ground and lost his hat.... when he finally got up, he first made sure to fix his appearance before he even drew his gun.... what a joke!
