Agreed, but at present there are very few EVs that use LFP batteries due to the marketing focus on range, which I believe to be stupid.Interesting one for the EV folks:
Meanwhile, I have some LFP solar batteries which, at least for as long as true 1:1 net metering remains a thing here, are configured for "full backup", meaning they will only get cycled in a power outage. But that also means they sit at 100% SoC all the time. I really wish there was a way to dial that down, but at present, there is not.
