The extra-hilarious part is I work in the wireless industry, though we don't do much for AT&T in our CA markets. We have, however, dealt with copper theft in the past, and I'm sure we're going to see a lot more of it in the short-term.

Done. But a more traditional method is to use some black electrical tape to prevent the light from being seen.
